Formitize Tip: How to Customize Your Formitize App

Using Formitize is a breeze if you know how to maximize our paperless app for your business. Our main goal is to help you grow your business, improve productivity, and increase efficiency across all areas of your organization. We will hold your hand as you transition from using paperwork to utilizing mobile forms to assign jobs, create invoices, and generate reports in your company. Yes, you can do all these and more. Did you know that you can even customize your settings to suit your preferences?

 

 

What Customization Options are Available?

 

In the management portal, you have the option of changing your:

 

  1. App Logos and Colours;
  2. Form Headers and Logos;
  3. PDF Reports & Invoices; and
  4. Management Portal logo and colours.

 

To do this, go to your Management Portal, choose Settings in the menu and then select the Customize option.

 

How Do I Add My Logo?

 

In your Management Portal, click Settings > Customize. From there you may upload your logo (in jpeg or png format). Please note there are two logo options, one is your regular logo, which will appear on your Portal and on your PDF reports. The other is a square logo that will appear on the Home Screen of your App, we encourage you to use a square version of your logo for this.

 

Can I Customize the App Logo and Colors?

 

You can also customise the App logo and colors on the same page. Management Portal, Settings > Customize, then Simply select your color theme.

 

How Do I Select a Color?

 

In your Management Portal, click Settings > Customise and choose from the color picker or select your own color. Formitize will automatically select your color based on the colors in your logo, or, you can select your own from the logo color palette or you can use the picker to select an alternate color that is not part of your logo.

 

Can I Turn Sections of the App off so Users Can’t See Them?

 

You can turn sections of the App off so users can’t see them. In each user’s profile, there are checkboxes to deny or add access to certain features and data. In your management portal, click Users > View Users then click on the User that you would like to edit. That User’s Permissions & Records will appear and that is where you can edit user permissions or turn sections of the app off so that user can’t see them.
